Do you have a few spare hours in the daytime? The Tunstall Speed Watch Group are looking for a couple of additional volunteers. The group, who are all fully authorised and trained by Suffolk Constabulary, have access to a Speed Gun and other equipment for 2 weeks in every 10.

During these weeks the group leader, David Lowne, organises sessions for the team to stand in sanctioned locations to record the speed of vehicles at that time. Anyone recorded travelling at over 35mph is then reported to the Police who send a letter to the keeper of that vehicle advising them of the correct speed for that location.
