New BowlsTunstall and District Bowls Club

Our Club has existed since circa 1923, making it one of the oldest in the area, and our exciting 100 year centenary is fast approaching. The green is situated behind the community centre and is open to all comers.

Think bowls is for the retired? Think again! Some of the most accomplished players in the country, nay World, are aged just 30 and below, and bowls has, in recent times, become one of the trendiest sports on the planet. We play in the Woodbridge league as well as Cup Competitions.  We also welcome those who just want recreational bowls "for fun and exercise" and coaching is available for beginners.  Membership costs £35 per year, £15 for under 16's.

Reasons to join us:

  • We are a friendly bunch!

  • Bowls is good exercise for both mind and body

  • Coaching and advice about equipment is totally free

  • Facilities within the locality are second to none - free parking, adjacent to the community centre, Multi utility games arena just opposite, The green man public house close by, serving quality food... to name just a few.

So, what are you waiting for? Come and see what it is all about, like us, you might just get hooked!
